Regarding Best White Hat Practices

My best advice is always be aware of and respect how much you don’t know and be glad when you are proven wrong because that means progress has been made.
There are only 2 kinds of SEO people… Those who continuously educate themselves with research and posers. If I stop experimenting then I stop learning. If google changes like it did with Caffeine and Instant, then all SEO folk are reduced to 0 wisdom again and have to retest all their past assumptions. If I take a break for a few months then I know nothing when I come back.

• Rehashing old knowledge is a crime! (That is, without verifying that it is still relevant and true first.)
• SEO is not a faith based religion. Belief by the masses doesn’t make it true.
• Only believe in what you can prove for yourself.
• Blindly follow SEO advice at your own peril.
