How to Find OS Install Date
Open Command Prompt Type the following command: systeminfo
Press "Enter" on the keyboard. The original installation date of the current Windows operating system on the current computer is listed next to the "Original Install Date" line.
Find the Original Install Date of Software
Click "My Computer" in the right-side window panel. Click the "Local Disk (C:)" drive.
Navigate to the program file or folder you want to know about. Most program files are found in the "Programs" folder. Windows component programs (applications which come included with the Windows operating system) are found in the "Windows" folder.
Right- click on the program file or folder and select "Properties" from the shortcut menu to open the program's Properties box.
Go to the "General" tab. The original installation date of the selected program is listed next to the "Created" line.
